On this day I learned what a “belvedere” is. In my head there are dozens of better imaginings of different types of belvederes, but in 5 minutes I wound up concocting a sort of Scandinavia-meets-Far-East fire or lookout tower. Not on purpose. I probably shouldn’t have tried to draw the tree in the foreground first, but I was thinking of making it a treehouse with a rope bridge and stuff.
